Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We prepare orders as fast as we can, so get in touch as soon as possible — ideally on WhatsApp. We'll do our best to help.

No. You can buy a single product or a bigger order.
Do sold-out products come back?
Yes, we restock every week (some items every day). On some pages you can ask us to email you when it's back. Products in Opportunities are limited editions and production leftovers, so they don't come back.

Of course. We still recommend the online shop: your order is saved in your account.
Can I order for resale?
Yes. Get in touch and we'll send you our reseller terms.

Cords and technique
Which cord should I choose for my project?
Use the project planner: tell us what you're making and we'll suggest the cord, the thickness and the metres. To compare cord types, read the differences between all types of cotton cord.
I want to start macramé. Which cord should I choose?
The most popular choices to start with are 3 or 4 mm braided or twisted cotton cord in natural colour. The colour, thickness and type depend on the effect and the project; the Macramé Kit for Beginners has everything you need.
What's the difference between natural and synthetic fibres?
Natural (cotton, linen, jute, merino wool): softer and biodegradable, with a handmade feel. Synthetic (polyester, polypropylene — our nautical and rustic cords): stronger, with a sheen, water-resistant and suitable for outdoors.
What is a rope with a core?
The core is the inside of the rope. A coreless rope is hollow and more pliable; a rope with a core has another rope inside and is more structured — ideal for basketry and sewing.
What's the difference between braided and parallel braided?
We explain it all in What's the difference between braided and parallel cotton cord?
How many metres are on each spool?
It depends on the thickness. On each cord's page, the metres are shown next to the price and in the table under "Length and information".
Is it normal for the cord to have joins?
Occasionally there may be joins, which aren't considered a defect: we make them as discreet as possible so they don't affect your work. If you receive cord with a serious defect, get in touch right away.
Can the colour or thickness of natural fibres vary?
Yes, slightly between batches — it's the nature of natural fibres (cotton, linen, jute). For a big project, buy all the material at once, with a small margin.
Are your cords good for beginners?
Yes. We have easy-to-work cords, all-inclusive kits (like the Navita Start Box), free tutorials and a workshop every month. If you have questions, we're here.
Can the cords be dyed or painted?
Many can, especially natural fibres like cotton. Always test the dye on a small piece before using it on your project.
How should I store and care for the cords?
Somewhere dry, away from direct sun; keep natural fibres away from damp. To wash, follow each cord's instructions (under "Care instructions" on the product page). For cotton pieces, read how to wash a handmade cotton piece.
Can I use the cords for baby and children's items?
Yes: the raw material of our natural-fibre cords, like cotton, is OEKO-TEX certified. Always check the piece is well finished, with no loose threads or small parts.
Which cords stand up to water and outdoors?
The synthetic ones: nautical and rustic cords and ropes, water-resistant and UV-protected. Cotton and other natural fibres last less outdoors. Read which cord to choose for an outdoor project.
Is your cotton 100% cotton?
Yes, 100% cotton, with no other fibres mixed in and no additives in the spinning. We buy our raw material from certified suppliers, such as OEKO-TEX.
Is the real colour the same as in the photo?
We do our best to keep it very close, but every screen shows colours slightly differently. If in doubt, our sample catalogues show the real colours.
