Macrame Workshop: a creative afternoon full of knots, mandalas, and inspiration

On September 13th, we welcomed lovers of manual art and those curious to explore the world of Macramé to our facilities in Vila Nova de Gaia. It was an afternoon filled with creativity, camaraderie, and sharing, led with great care by instructor Luciana Ribeiro.

What we learned

During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to:

-Learn the basic macramé knots, such as the lark's head knot, square knot, and the half hitch knot;

-Put their knowledge into practice by creating a macramé mandala, a decorative piece that can be used as a mirror, a table centerpiece, or a focal point on any wall;

-Experience the sensation of transforming threads into art, taking home not only a unique piece but also new manual skills.

More than technique: a shared experience

In addition to the practical aspect, the workshop provided moments of inspiration and exchange of ideas among participants. It was a space for joint learning, where each knot made brought not only beauty but also stories and good conversations.

For continuous support, everyone has access to an exclusive WhatsApp group, where they can clarify doubts, share creations, and keep alive the creative spirit started in the workshop.

All our workshops are held at our facilities in São Félix da Marinha (Rua Igreja Velha Nº345, 4410-160). A space designed to inspire and welcome.
In addition to learning the technique, participants were able to visit our physical store, full of ideas and materials for new projects.

Our gatherings are always an invitation to relaxation, creativity, and conviviality. Each mandala made is a reflection of the personality of its creator, transforming simple cords into works full of meaning.
