The first Navita Meet & Create was much more than an event. It was a day dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship, and, above all, the people who are part of the NAVITA® community.
After weeks of preparation, we welcomed creators, customers, and enthusiasts of macramé, crochet, and handicrafts for a gathering designed to create, learn, share experiences, and strengthen a community that continues to grow.
And it was even more special than we imagined. 🤍
An event that brought people together from all over the country
We welcomed participants from Faro, Lisbon, Leiria, Castelo Branco, and many other parts of Portugal.
For us, one of the most special moments was finally meeting in person so many people who were already part of the NAVITA® community through social media, our orders, workshops, and creative projects.
It was a moment to put faces, voices, and hugs to people we had previously only known from a distance.
The Navita Meet & Create was born precisely with that goal: to bring together people who share the same passion for crafts and creativity.
Creativity, macramé, crochet, and lots of sharing
Throughout the day, there was space to create, talk, discover new techniques, and meet other people from the creative community.
Between demonstrations, moments of creation, sharing experiences, and many conversations, we saw new ideas and new connections emerge.
Anyone who works with yarns and cords for macramé, crochet, and other handmade projects knows that creating goes far beyond the end result.
Creating is also about stopping, experimenting, learning, and sharing.
And that is exactly the atmosphere we wanted to provide during the event.
Conversas a Fio: talking about creativity and entrepreneurship
One of the highlights of the Navita Meet & Create was our Conversas a Fio (Conversations by the Thread).
A space for conversation on topics that are part of the day-to-day life of many creators and small brands: transforming a hobby into a project, valuing handmade work, setting prices, communicating on social media, creating a unique identity, and growing without losing the joy of creating.
More than presenting "right" answers, we wanted to open space for real experiences, different perspectives, and conversations between people facing similar challenges.
Much more than a yarn and cord brand
The Navita Meet & Create also showed us something we feel more and more: NAVITA® is now much more than a brand of yarns and cords produced in Portugal.
It is a community.
A community made of people who create with their hands, who seek to learn new techniques, who transform threads into unique pieces, and who find in crafts a form of expression, a business, or simply a moment to slow down.
Seeing so many people gathered in one space made us realize, once again, the scale of what we are building together.

We closed this first edition with full hearts, many photos, new ideas, and memories that we will keep for a long time.
Your feedback after the event was confirmation that every detail, every bit of preparation, and every moment lived was worth it.
